Now I might be a little bit biased, but if you’re looking for great art you can find it at the Arenal Evergreen souvenir store across from the park in La Fortuna. The artist in question? My wife. (She’s really good, I swear! And not just because she’s standing behind me making threatening gestures with a paintbrush). This is one of my favorites:

Art by Lana (Lana being the childhood nickname her dad gave her) can be found not only at the Arenal Evergreen souvenir store, but also directly on the Instagram page above or by visiting her gallery and e-store, the Wenzel Art Gallery. If you want a commissioned painting made ahead of your trip she can do that too, and pack it up nice so it will fit in a suitcase without being damaged. We also work with an art studio in the US to make print reproductions that can be shipped there if you want something made after your visit to Costa Rica.
